4 Weeks - 2 Year Old Infant Program

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our daycare—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.

A shoe-free environment built for little explorers
Our bootie- or sock-only policy is one of the first things you’ll notice about our infant classroom. As soon as your infant is ready to start crawling and scooting around, it’s important to give them the freedom to explore. A shoe-free environment keeps their little hands and mouth safe from germs and dirt while they discover the world.
Keeping cribs free and clear
We keep cribs clear of items like pillows and toys and use a firm mattress with a tight-fitting sheet. Plus, they’re see-through so we can keep an eye on your little one.

Flexible feeding schedules to fit your infant's needs
Whether you breastfeed or bottle-feed, we’ll keep your infant fed, happy, and healthy. We have policies to carefully label and separate breast milk and formula. And you’re always welcome to stop in on a break to feed your baby!

2-5 Years Old Toddler Program

They’re on the move! We have a safe (and fun!) environment for toddlers to explore.
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day.

At Dora’s Daycare, we put safety first to protect our families and staff.

There’s something special about the toddler classroom: Everything is kid-size! We put books and toys within easy reach of little hands. Instead of waiting for an adult to bring a book over, kids can kick off story time all on their own.In our classrooms, photos and visual cues are everywhere. We always hang pictures of our children’s families to help build our sense of community. Labels—especially visual ones—help your toddler navigate the room and the day in a safe and confident way.
Group time happens every day in each of our classrooms. For toddlers, it’s their time to come together as a community, talk about the day, and hear a read-aloud.
Every day, toddlers sit down to a meal with healthy fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. We never serve juice or fried foods!
Our classes spend 20–30 minutes outside at least twice a day, weather permitting. Outdoor playtime is big-time fun for busy toddlers, as they build on their ever-growing physical skills.

School Age Program

Our teachers will help your child build skills that get them ready for “big kid school.” Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.

At this age, children really begin to understand drawing and writing as a form of expression, so we do lots of both every day. They can also ask and answer questions about stories we read.

Creatively, kids at our daycare are able to explore more art mediums than before. They can paint and work with clay, play dress-up and pretend, and use music to express feelings.
